NC's latest content addition is designed around difficult PvE encounters and equipment progression, with an entry requirement beginning at item level 5,800. Higher difficulties can raise that requirement to 6,200, making the sanctuary a serious destination for highly developed characters. Players looking for stronger Aion 2 Items now have another demanding activity to pursue, while competitive forces have additional incentives through exclusive Hard difficulty rewards and the new Hall of Fame system.

High-Level PvE Gets a New Destination

The Snowy Plains of Sorrow immediately establishes itself as an endgame-focused sanctuary. The minimum item-level requirement prevents underprepared characters from entering, while the scaling requirement at higher difficulties gives advanced groups a reason to keep upgrading.

This design also gives players a clear progression goal. Reaching 5,800 item level is only the beginning for groups hoping to test the hardest version. Characters approaching 6,200 will be better positioned to take on the upper difficulty settings, turning equipment progression into an important part of preparation.

Defeating Deltras

The sanctuary's main encounter revolves around Legion Commander of Storms Deltras. Players must defeat this boss to complete the dungeon and secure the rewards connected to the activity.

Several valuable rewards are available, including the Seal of Deltras and powerful equipment such as the Rampant Energy of Terror: [True] Weapon. The Liberated White Night Weapon and Liberated White Night Gadder are also included among the rewards. For players focused on endgame progression, these items give the sanctuary considerable appeal.

Special Rewards for Early Clears

NC has added an extra incentive for groups attempting Hard difficulty. The first 20 forces to successfully clear the challenging version receive special rewards based on their completion order.

The first force earns the Golden Void pet and the title The First to Break the Sword of Frost and Cold. The second through fifth forces receive the Silver Void pet, while later successful forces can obtain the Bronze Void pet. This reward structure creates a competitive race for early clears while still giving later groups something worthwhile for completing the challenge.

The Hall of Fame Arrives

The new Hall of Fame system adds a permanent-looking recognition element to the activity. Players can view information about the top three forces that manage to complete the raid, giving the community a way to follow high-level achievements.

This feature can make the first clears particularly meaningful. Groups are not simply competing for temporary rewards; their performances can also become part of the visible record associated with the new sanctuary.
